Recreation Center Hardwood Floor

We dried out this recreation centers wood floor in under 5 days.  It would have taken 3-4 days but we discovered pools of moisture underneath the floor, sitting on the vapor barrier.  We used two tex boxes and created the drying chamber/tent to contain the heat.  The gym was open to a work out area on the second floor, so it was difficult to contain the heat in the entire area.  The contruction of the floor was the maple floor on top, followed by two layers of 1/2 inch plywood, followed by rubber discs to suspend the floor above the vapor barrier then concrete.  After 5 days of drying the cupping of the wood slats had completely dissipated.
